Haymana, located 74 km far from Ankara, is a small town with a  population of 28.355 There are two programs within Ankara University Haymana Vocational School including  Physiotherapy and Elderly Care. Haymana Vocatioanal  School, which is founded to give education in association`s degree in the programs of First Aid and Emergency  Physioteraphy and Elderly Care, has given its first courses in 2010- 2011 Academic Year.  Since 2015-2016 Academic Year First Aid and Emergency  Program has been moved on Vocational School of Health. The training process is 2 years (4 semesters) and there is an Optional Preparation Class. Our graduates get their diplomas with associate degree.

Haymana Vocational School has two Erasmus agreements with Pardubice University Faculty of Health Studies in Czech Republic and Daugavpils Medical College in Latvia.

The most important information on determining the success of the vocational school programs are the scope and diversity of the work areas and the employment rates of the students who have graduated. Therefore two programs; Physiotherapy and Elderly Care have come into being. Our graduates can work in physiotherapy centers, medical centers, hospitals, municipalities,  special education and rehabilitation centers, prosthesis-orthosis production and rehabilitation centers, institutions providing primary healthcare, industry fields,  sports clubs, nursing homes, occupational rehabilitation centers, thermal bath centers, and home care centers.

There are daily regular transportation facillities between Haymana and Ankara. Haymana has a significant potential for thermal water to be used in physical therapy practices. It trains inconstant professionals who engage in maintenance and rehabilitation of elderly individuals and also contribute to improve their quality of lives.
